Bartlett Cocke General Contractors has been appointed as Piazza San Lorenzo’s general contractor and has been involved in the planning and architectural process for over two years prior to ground breaking. Laurence J. Raba serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for RTK Development, Inc. Mr. Raba has directed the planning, architectural design, entitlement process, and construction management for innumerable public and private development projects within the San Antonio community and internationally. Larry Raba’s involvement as a past chairman of the River Walk Commission has given him the necessary insight and sensitivity to direct the development of this project.

Selected examples of Mr. Raba’s involvement with San Antonio projects includes: a $100 million dollar expansion and renovation of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center; the CPS Offices atop the Navarro St. Parking Garage, and the Master Plan for Brackenridge Park. Mr. Raba started his career under the mentorship of H.B. Zachry, a San Antonio visionary and pioneer. Larry Raba’s first project as a design professional was the Hilton Palacio Del Rio, which was built in a Guinness Book of World Record 202 days.

Through Raba Design Group, Mr. Raba has directed the efforts of all professionals and consultants toward a successful completion of the firm’s architectural and engineering design projects from public housing to hospitals and hotels sponsored through governmental and private alliances within the countries of Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Mexico and Venezuela. Larry Raba has special expertise with accelerated schedules, projects which remain operational during construction, and building systems technology.
